Glass cutting
1.. It is necessary to fully confirm whether the glass to be cut is deformed or cracked, and it cannot be used if it is unqualified.
2. The glass tube (rod) must be passivated in advance if both ends is sharp.
3. First use a trowel to draw a scratch at the place to be cut, the depth of which is required to be more than 1mm.
4. When cutting, the operator must wear cut-proof gloves and safety glasses on both hands.
5. When the glass is broken by hand, the position of both hands should not exceed 2cm.
6. When you break the glass, while rubbing the left and right sides, use your thumb to push forward, but the force should not be too large.
7. After the glass is broken, the sections on both sides must be passivated.
8. Cutting large diameter glass tubes (rods) (15mm or more) can not be broken by hand, but should be heated to the scratches to break with the characteristics of temperature difference deformation.
If you cut a glassware as large as a bottle, wrap the sides of the file with a tape for several weeks, and then wet it with water, then heat the scratch with a blower.
Molten glass processing
1. To fully confirm whether the glass to be cut is deformed or cracked, and it cannot be used if it is unqualified.
2. The glass tube (rod) must be passivated in advance if both ends is sharp.
3. The flame of the gas burner should be suitable. (melt the glass at a position about 5 mm above the blue flame)
4. When melting, slowly move back and forth to heat evenly.
5. Insufficient melting, no further processing.
6. When doing stretching and other processing, leave the flame and do it quickly.
7. After the fusion bonding, heat it sufficiently to anneal until there is no deformation.
8. After processing, to avoid rapid cooling, do not touch the test bench at the processing site.
9. Wear protective gloves and glasses when processing.
10. Wear long-sleeved overalls when operating.
